INFORM Billing exhibited at the Convergence Summit North for the first time earlier this month, joining the show at its new home in Harrogate.
Convergence Summit brings together the Comms, IT and Mobile Channel resellers with the major convergence suppliers. Inform Billing took the opportunity to talk to resellers from across the channel about its Eclipse billing software and in particular, its recently re-launched Bureau Billing services.
Shaun Bodsworth, managing director at Inform Billing said: “After reaching the 5th anniversary milestone this year, we felt it was the right time to exhibit at a Convergence Summit. At Inform Billing we pride ourselves on the level of support we offer to customers and are proud to receive a lot of recommendations; The show provides a perfect opportunity not only to talk to potential customers about our products and services, but also to catch-up with existing customers and strengthen relationships with some of our channel partners.”
As a new addition to the show line-up Inform Billing attracted a lot of interest from those new to billing.
Shaun continues: “For re-sellers reluctant to take the plunge into the unknowns of billing, this is where Inform Billing can add significant value – our job is not just to sell billing software but also to provide additional services, to help new entrants into the re-sale market. We offer a bureau service for a simple, no-fuss approach to billing. But our software is not just for start-ups. Eclipse will take millions of calls and other charges from multiple suppliers, import them quickly, rate them accurately and produce billing values to be billed to customers.”
Whilst the focus was on convergence, Inform Billing attracted the attention of several potential new customers working outside of the traditional telecoms and IT markets.
Darren Salisbury, director at Inform Billing explains: “Although traditionally we work closely with telecoms resellers, Inform Billing’s expertise spans across multi-channels. We work closely with providers that are making the transition into managed or converged services, as well as M2M or IoT providers and anyone else who has a requirement to bill recurring charges on a regular basis.”
The show was so successful that Inform Billing has joined the line up for both the Convergence Summit South at Sandown Park, Surrey on 8th and 9th October 2015 and the 2016 Convergence Summit North, back in Harrogate on 15th and 16th March.
