Inform Billing’s Senior Test Analyst Aman Sahota, along with her sister, Kiran, completed the ambitious Thames Bridge Trek across London raising much needed funds for Dementia UK.
The event took place on 9th September, walking sixteen bridges from Putney to Southwark, covering a total of 25km, the Sahota sisters hoped that their trek not only raised money, but also inspired conversations and actions to improve the understanding of dementia, especially within the South Asian communities.
Aman added: “Dementia is affecting so many families and currently there is no cure, so we are hoping that by completing the Thames Bridge Trek we have supported Dementia UK with much-needed funds and increased awareness of Dementia, particularly in South Asian communities.”
Inform Billing are extremely proud of Aman and the fundraising activities that she has undertaken with her sister, coming together to raise money and awareness to make a difference. Completing the trek in sweltering temperatures, Aman and Kiran were delighted to cross the final bridge within a total time of 7 hours and 10 minutes!
