How much do Eclipse NG and Enlighten cost?

Eclipse NG, Enlighten and access to our API are all charged on a monthly basis. We do not charge per seat but work from a banding structure based on the amount that you bill through the system. We are highly competitive and have low-cost entry options available.

Do I need an experienced Billing Manager in my business?

This depends on the size and complexity of your bill run. The Billing Manager role can often be fulfilled by an existing member of staff, often in the accounts team, who has responsibility for billing during the bill run period. It is always a good idea to provide training to another or others to ensure you always have cover.

Another option is to take up our bureau service and outsource the monthly bill run to our experienced and knowledgeable team. Some of our customers choose this to focus resources on other areas of the business, and others to avoid reliance on a single member of staff. Do bills go out in my name?

Bills can be set up to go out with your company’s branding, in the branding of your channel customer or even dual branded with another organisation if required. This is something that you can set up and control on a customer-by-customer basis.

Can customers view bills online?

Customers can view bills online through the Enlighten web portal. This is available for an additional fee and can be accessed from your website and designed to replicate the look and feel of your site.

How do I import CDR data?

Eclipse NG can auto-collect and auto-import files from specific carriers and suppliers. Where this is not possible, Eclipse NG has an easy import tool that allows you to import data from any carrier with the click of a button

Is there reporting available?

Yes. The Eclipse NG billing platform comes supplied with a range of standard reports for both customer and data related information, an almost unlimited range of bespoke reports can be created using the in-built report generators.

Billing information is available to customers in multiple formats with the ability to specify from a range of graphical and statistical reports. Inform Billing can provide custom exports and reports to match the needs of your business and end customer expectations.

Can Eclipse integrate with other systems?

Eclipse NG can interface with other systems and applications through our comprehensive read/ write API set. Please contact us to find out more.

How do I get billing figures into my accounts package?

Typically this is done through an export from Eclipse NG into your accounts package. We already work with most of the popular packages such as Sage, Xero and Xoom.

Does Eclipse support WLR3 provisioning?

Unfortunately not. If this is a requirement, please contact us to discuss alternative options.

Will you collect money on our behalf?

We do not provide a collection service, although we’d be happy to talk you through the mechanics and issues such as direct debit collection. In addition, through Eclipse NG you can export files that will facilitate easy collection through a third party.

What do my bills look like?

Please contact us and we will send you a sample bill. This will use placeholder branding to show where your logo, or logos of your choice can be used on the bill.

Is Eclipse NG hosted or on-premise? And how do we access it?

Eclipse is offered as a hosted solution as standard, however you can host this within your own architecture where necessary.

Do you have a demo version?

We do not have a demo version as we find it more beneficial to host a demo tailored to your requirements.

What carriers do you deal with?

We currently work with files from over 100 different suppliers. If you have a requirement to bill a supplier that we do not currently support, we will work with you

Can I pay dealer commissions through Eclipse NG?

Yes. Eclipse NG has a powerful dealer commission rating engine where each and every dealer can have a commissioning structure set, or even multiple structures per dealer.

Has Eclipse got CRM included?

Our recommendation is to use a dedicated CRM system which can then integrate with Eclipse NG if required.

How long does it take to set the system up?

That can depend upon your requirements. For example – a new reseller with no customers starting from scratch can be set up, trained and ready to bill within 10 working days. A larger reseller who requires a data migration can take between eight and 12 weeks.
