Inform Billing is pledging to donate £500 to food banks across the UK, on behalf of Comms Vision delegates who attend 121 meetings during the two-day conference and networking event.
Ellie Allseybrook, Business Development Director at Inform Billings explains: “We attend the annual Comms Vision event with the intention to meet potential new customers and to further relationships with existing customers and partners. In the past we have provided a token gift to those who take the time to come and share a 121 meeting with us, however many of the gifts undoubtably get left behind and go to waste. In the current economic climate and with so many people struggling to make ends meet, it feels more appropriate to put that money towards social good.
“During the event we expect to fill our 121 slots and see 25 different businesses. We have a lot of value to demonstrate, having made a significant investment into our billing software with new functionality to save time, simplify processes and increase profitability for our customers. Businesses within our industry are continually supporting charities, so we hope that this will resonate with delegates and provide that extra incentive to accept our invite and find out more about how we can help solve their billing headaches.”
Inform Billing will make a £20 donation to The Trussell Trust, which operates over 1,400 food banks across the UK, for every business that accepts and attends a 121 session. Over the past year 2.17 million people used a foodbank in the United Kingdom, with expectations of a 35% increase in the next three months as higher energy bills, interest rates and inflation add to financial pressures.
Comms Vision was launched in 2006 and is an invite-only conference and networking event for C-suite executives from the UK’s major ICT solution providers. Inform Billing will be sponsoring the event at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel for the third consecutive year. 121 meeting slots are available to book via the event portal, a week or so prior to the event.
